Both of those gifts had special meaning for the 39-year-old Swede. “I got a really, really nice bottle of, I think it was champagne, but I'm not sure. I don't drink a ton. That was from Lydia Ko the other day,” Nordqvist said. “It was a vintage of 2009 and that was my rookie year. When I got greeted off the 18th hole, I just received another of the same brand, and that was 2017, and obviously a very important year in my life because that was when I won my first major in Europe. I've had a lot of messages and a lot of support this week, so I'm very grateful.”

Nordqvist closes her career with nine LPGA titles and three majors. She will captain Europe in the Solheim Cup Sept. 11-13 at Bernardus Golf Club in the Netherlands.
