Justin Rose will debut McLaren Golf irons this week at the Cadillac Championship.

The only question is which long-iron model will make the bag. Rose confirmed during his pre-tournament press conference that he has two options: McLaren's Series 1 blade and Series 3 cavity-back.

"I'm just refining that last end of the bag," he said. "Like, do I put a 5-iron with the blade or the 3s in? So I'm making those final little decisions."

As Rose worked on his putting during a morning practice session, I peeked in his bag and noticed he still had two 4-irons (Series 1 and 3) and two 5-irons (Series 1 and 3) situated in one of the pockets of his papaya-colored McLaren staff bag. In other words, the long-iron composition is still a work in progress ahead of Thursday's opening round.
