The 2013 U.S. Open champ is joining McLaren Golf as its first global ambassador and an investor, with the brand's clubs set to make their PGA Tour debut this week in Miami. Rose wasn't just along for the ride, either. He logged serious prototype hours and offered feedback that helped shape what's coming down the pipeline.

"From the beginning, this has been a passion project," Rose said. "I've had the opportunity to be involved from the outset—working with the team, testing the clubs and helping shape what they've become."

McLaren hasn't tipped its hand on the full product lineup yet, but landing a player of Rose's caliber suggests a complete bag is on the way.

Rose had been an equipment free agent since his one-and-done run on Honma's tour staff end in 2020.
