Playing in the team event with Angel Yin, Inkster became the oldest player to make the cut at an LPGA event. She’s a week-and-a-half from turning 66, and broke Joanne Carner’s record of making a cut when she was 64 in 2004. But Inkster didn’t just make the cut. She and Yin finished with a 64 on Sunday to tie for 12th place.

“We had an amazing time out there. Angel played amazing today,” Inkster said on Sunday. “I was just glad to be by her side and be her partner.”

Inkster said she does not plan to play in LPGA events in the near future.
