Furyk had worked several tournaments for the network this year to solid reviews. On Wednesday the broadcaster announced it had signed the 2003 U.S. Open champ multi-year deal to serve as the main analyst for men’s major championship coverage, PGA Tour Signature and Championship Series events. The Golf Channel release also noted Furyk will contribute to the “Live From” show during majors. Furyk is set to be the American Ryder Cup captain for the 2027 match in Ireland.
