Winning any college tournament three straight years is an impressive accomplishment.

Winning three straight SEC titles is a generational accomplishment. Auburn junior Jackson Koivun, the world’s top amateur, is just the second player to pull off the feat after closing with a 63 at Sea Island G.C. for a seven-shot victory on Friday. The 20-year-old from Chapel Hill, N.C., joins LSU’s B.R. McLendon (1965-67) in this rare company. He's also in the midst of a generational college season; this was his sixth win in eight starts for 2025-26. Koivun has a tour card at the ready whenever he turns pro (thanks to the PGA Tour Accelerated program. Before then, he's looking to wrap up one hell of a college career.
