Leader Cam Young was handed a one-shot penalty on the second hole at the Cadillac Championship when his ball moved in the fairway while he was at address. They're playing preferred lies and, as the rules official stated on television, when the ball is propped up in the fairway it can often move in situations like this.

Young called in a rules official, they discussed the situation. He replaced the ball, was given the penalty (Rule 9.2) and played on. But get this ... Young still made par on the hole. He hit his approach to inside 14 feet and drained what would've been a birdie putt, but with the penalty it was a par. He marched to the third hole while still holding a five-shot lead over Scottie Scheffler and Kristoffer Reitan.
