A former Masters competitor is caddieing this week at Augusta National.

A dozen years after playing in the Masters, Derek Ernst is back carrying the bag of University of Tennessee sophomore Jackson Herrington. Ernst, who is best known for winning the 2013 Wells Fargo Championship, is a now an assistant golf coach with the Volunteers. He's the first former Masters participant to caddie since Trip Kuehne caddied for his brother, Hank, at the 1999 Masters. "Other people have asked me if I ever thought I’d be caddieing in this," Ernst told Golf Channel. "I’m like, if you told me that day, I would’ve said no way, I’m going to be winning one of these. But things have changed, and it’s going to be a great experience for me, and all I want to do is do my best for Jackson out there and give him the opportunity to play his best.”
