Following up on a few other notable finishes at the AIG Women's British Open.
World Nos. 1 and 2, Nelly Korda and Jeeno Thitikul both tied for fourth place, three shots out of a playoff. Korda, of course, won the first two majors of the year and was trying to capture the career Grand Slam and gain entry into the LPGA's Hall of Fame. Thitikul has won nine LPGA titles, but still has not captured a major. Haeran Ryu won both of the last two majors and was attempting to become the first player in history to win three majors in three consecutive starts. But a 74-74 weekend moved her down the leaderboard, ending in a tie for sixth place.
