Cameron Young generates his incredible power from his lower body.
His left knee holds the secrets. In his backswing, Young says he focuses on letting his left knee move toward the ground. This helps him make a full turn and get loaded behind the ball without swaying away from the target.
In a split second in transition, Young moves his left knee from pointing behind the ball to well in front of it. Young says he used to come over the top, but he fixed it by aggressively rotating his left knee and hip in the early part of the downswing while keeping his upper body and arms back.
