If you're a stats-loving golfer, you've definitely heard of Arccos at this point. It's the official game-tracker of the PGA Tour, and it's been making some big moves in recent years. The company has signed Matt Fitzpatrick as an ambassador, installed Edoardo Molinari as its Chief Data Strategist, and on Tuesday they launched their biggest app update ever.

"This isn't an incremental update," says Sal Syed, CEO and Co-Founder of Arccos Golf. "We've rethought every aspect of the analytics experience."

There's an overwhelming amount of good stuff in the new-look app, and it all centers around using AI to visualize your data, then give you some actionable insights about how to improve it.

You can see some examples from my own game below.

First, the bad news:

• I'm currently losing about 1.2 SG: Off-the-Tee compared to my fellow scratches. You can see my dispersion chart below. The culprit is my accuracy, as Arccos explains.

But there's good news, too!

• Coincidentally, I gain 1.2 SG: Putting. I'm pretty good from short range and long range—but there's an opportunity to improve even more from mid range.
