  • Your sternum should be centered above the ball at address.
  • Golfers who tilt their upper body away will struggle to compress the ball.
  • Swing Thought: Align the buttons of your shirt directly over the golf ball
  • Aligning your centers helps promote a descending blow for more compression.
  • Shuffle your feet until your pressure feels about 50-50 over both feet feet.
  • Check your body alignment by dropping both arms directly down at setup.
  • Position your hands slightly ahead of the ball at address.
  • A slight forward lean helps create an earlier wrist hinge.
  • Hands forward also helps promote a descending blow for ball-first contact.
  • As you swing through, allow your body to move toward your lead side.
  • Focus on straightening your trail arm as you approach impact.
