Overview
This western Wisconsin layout sits just 30 minutes east of the Twin Cities. There are plenty of elevation changes, with many holes playing downhill to the fairway before working back uphill to the green. The rough that lines most holes often slopes back toward the fairways, making the landing areas play wider than they appear. Given all the elevation changes, the course can be a strenuous walk.

“There is a lot of variety on this golf course which is always a plus. Start off in marsh areas and eventually find yourself in the valleys of western Wisconsin. Lots of decision making on the tees which is fun as you don't always need to pull driver. Eventually the course starts to feel repetitive as you continuously drive into a valley and hit your second shot to an elevated green. The first two holes can bite you with the carries over marshland but the course gets a bit more forgiving as you work your way through your round, as the hillsides can propel your tee shots back to the fairways."

“Surprising elevation changes throughout makes you feel like you’re not golfing in western Wisconsin. Enjoyable course design with good turf conditions. Deceptively challenging course due to the elevation changes."
