“The thing you notice right away on the first tee is that you are in Green Bay Packer country! At the right corner of the dogleg right first hole is a large Green Bay Packer logo (the Oneida Indians are a significant sponsor of the Green Bay Packers and the Oneida’s own the golf course). Thornberry Creek is essentially two golf courses in one, first taking you through what feels more like a residential Northwoods course, several holes with trees on both sides of the fairway/green, to a more open, linksy feel/look. The course feels open with generous fairways, though there’s plenty of trouble with a good amount of water in play on several holes (7, 8, 9, and 15). Good variety in hole lengths/direction. If in the Green Bay area, a course worth considering playing, particularly at $89.00."
