Overview
The site of Tiger Woods’ professional debut in 1996 at the Greater Milwaukee Open, Brown Deer Park hosted the PGA Tour event from 1994-2009. Although Tiger finished tied for 60th that week, he famously made a hole-in-one on Sunday at the par-3 14th. The parkland design just north of Milwaukee has narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Before hosting the tour event, Brown Deer Park hosted three U.S. Amateur Public Links.

“This is a nice municipal city course. It's flat without much elevation and the holes tend to be repetitive but that's pretty much how you assess most municipal courses. If I were budget-minded and lived nearby, it's a perfectly enjoyable course. If you're from out of town looking for great golf, you might want to play it once. Tiger Woods, at the age of 20, made his professional debut here at the Greater Milwaukee Open in 1996."

“Very very good course conditions especially for a municipal course. Nothing tricky. Everything in front of you."

“Typical Milwaukee County municipal course. It's too bad the course isn't in the same condition it once was when it hosted a PGA event."

“Good muni, routing good enough for tour, conditioning not. Inexpensive. Tiger's first pro start."
