Overview
West Seattle Golf Course is considered by many of our panelists to be the best municipal track in Seattle. The front nine is relatively flat and meanders alongside Longfellow Creek, while the back nine is hillier and more difficult. There are beautiful views of downtown Seattle on several holes. The quality muny hosted the 1953 U.S. Amateur Public Links.

“Best of the Seattle munis. Play early in the morning or risk a very long round. The back nine gets a bit repetitive at the end, but the overall course has a very nice and challenging layout. Great views of downtown Seattle on a few holes."

“By far the best Seattle muni. The layout is challenging and interesting and the conditioning is better than most other public courses around. Would make a killing as a country club. Lack of driving range hurts the overall appeal however."
