Overview
The Home Course, located just south of Tacoma, opened in 2007 and hosted the final U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links in 2014. Though the course can stretch to over 7,400 yards from the tips, the landing areas are generally forgiving. The greens are large and undulating but are often guarded by deep sod-faced pot bunkers.

“If you need to build confidence in your driver, this is the place. Lots of room off of the tee and on the day I played it, the rough was cut way down. It is a fairly easy walk although there are some long traverses between several of the holes."

“Decent structure in the course, and I can see how they have hosted some bigger amateur tournaments when given time to prepare. However, i think the general condition for everyday play is a lot less than what they stand up for those events. If you are in Washington and looking for another course to play on a trip, this is a good spot, but I would keep the expectations tempered."

“Enjoyable course with several unique holes and reachable par 5s. The land has a rich history of native stewardship, European exploration, and industrial use before becoming a golf course. In addition, historical research indicates a crude six hole course was constructed here by Hudson Bay traders in the 1830s!"
