“This little known course is well known by those who live in the area. A very well designed course under new ownership. From the first tee that bends left and goes pretty much straight uphill, you'll know that you are in for some serious elevation changes and ingenuity in course design. Length here is a plus but not a necessity. It's more important to pick appropriate landing areas and plan each hole according to your strengths and weaknesses. The conditioning is much improved with the new ownership and the greens run fairly firm and fast. Doglegs are abundant, so pick your lines carefully. This is a place where local knowledge comes into play fairly regularly, so if you are new to the course listen to your elders. There are plans for an expansion of the clubhouse and they are making improvements to the course. Once the new management gets a better handle on things keep your eye on St J."
