“The Ralph Myhre GC is the college course of Middlebury College, located in an idyllic Vermont landscape with the Green Mountains on one side, and distant views of the Adirondacks on the other. While the Myhre is not the most dynamic college golf course in the Northeast, it serves its community and campus well, and there are a number of fun golf shots like the approach into the shallow 2nd green, the inverted saucer 13th, and navigating the swirling winds to the short par three 14th. Conditioning comes and goes due to clay soil underfoot, and hazards have been removed for playability. Renovation dreams are afoot here, as the site has great potential. Regardless of the on-the-ground golf being sometimes less exciting, nothing beats a Fall Saturday at Midd with a football game going on behind the 17th tee and locals and students alike cheering for their roommates on the soccer or rugby team!"
