“A truly fantastic course situated on rolling farmland located an hour west of Washington, DC in Northern Virginia. An exceptional 7300 yard track from the tips boasting a 153 course rating. This is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design constructed in 2007. The layout is expansive that winds thru a gated community featuring massive homes that never come into play but are evident throughout the property. Conditioning was fantastic and shot options plentiful to coincide with a classic Nicklaus design. Beautiful and well placed bunkering helps to frame this exceptional course."

“Creighton Farms is a 2008 Nicklaus Signature design that winds through gently rolling northern Virginia farmlands. The open front nine winds around and over ponds and streams with generous fairways lined by high fescue that is (generally) out of play. The back nine works into more heavily wooded areas. The course is much less tricky that some Nicklaus designs, but it does have plenty of the characteristic “fade” greens that are more receptive to high shots hit from left to right. The greens have subtle contours that are not especially deceptive, but large enough to host very many hole locations that can significantly impact strategy. There is plenty of built-in variety that Creighton Farms is the kind of course you could play every day and not get bored."

“Good variety of hole design, long short, right left, up down, with sand and water to challenge as well. Good condition."

“This private Nicklaus course was built about the same time he did Sebonack with Tom Doak and it shows. The bunkering is some of his best. It is very playable but challenging at the same time."

“Immaculate conditioning and an engaging mix of short/long 3s, 4s and 5s that move from left to right and right to left. In classic Nicklaus fashion, you will use every club in your bag while hitting high fades and low draws. Jump at the chance if you get an invite!"

“Tough private Nicklaus club with upscale housing. Rolling terrain with several water hazards. Nice green complexes with typical Nicklaus tough second shots. Worth playing if you can get invited."

“Solid Nicklaus golf course in the midst of horse country in Virginia. Can play pretty difficult and the conditioning occassionally isn't quite as good as one would expect at a higher end private club."
