“Belle Haven Country Club gives a player chances for gettable birdies and struggles for pars. The club depands exceptional conditioning and the staff delivers. It's a course you'll want to play again and again for the many opportunities it offers the golfer to test their best."

“Always in great condition, you'll use every club in your bag at Belle Haven. Short 3s, long 3s, short 4s and long 5s, the design and routing allows you to settle in on the opening holes, but beware of the tough stretch that is 8 through 16. Early 00s renovation work by Lester George still stands out after two decades: Deep and challenging bunkering guarding greens featuring subtle contours, dips, and nubs."

“While the golf course architecture overall is very good there are several very soggy areas (with limited rain in the area leading up to my eval) and weak conditioning on fairways and greens. Repeated straight back tee boxes lack angles of attack however 9 of 14 par 4s and 5s play as doglegs (some with extreme severity at 2, 3 and 5). Hole #4 is an outstanding par 5 in risk/reward, challenge from both tee to green and on the putting surface and from an aesthetic perspective with an Augusta National #13'esq flowing green front stream with stone walking bridge. Steep bunker walls add to the difficulty of sand shots (specifically at 5, 7, 9, 10 "
