“The Hills course and Prestonwood is the more open and undulating of the two courses at Prestonwood. Located in an upscale neighborhood in Plano, TX the course winds through the development and gently rolling terrain with most holes bordered by homes on both sides of the playing corridors. The course is in generally good condition with well maintained bent grass greens. The back nine is more dynamic than the front, and features one of my favorite holes in #10, a short par 4 that plays to a green elevated some 30 feet above the fairway on top of a sheer rock cliff. The ideal play off the tee, is a mid-iron to an elevated plateau (which sits at a similar elevation to the green) on the right side of the fairway, that will leave you with a relatively flat lie and short iron to the green. Missing the plateau short, left, or long leaves a short iron approach up the 30 ft cliff with limited visibility of the pin and green."

“A fun course but pace of play can be tough on the weekends."
