“The course renovation preserved all of the prior corridors, with tees and fairways largely unchanged (except for very good new turf). What is completely different are the greens complexes, which are really excellent, making the course very interesting and adding to the challenge of the course. Distinct tiers, various front or side falloffs, and periodic mounding create interest, variety and challenge to the course. Given the constraints of a mature course imbedded within a housing community, the renovation really refreshed and updated the course."

Andy Staples and his team reworked nearly every green surround, lengthened the course, incorporated native grasses into the secondary rough, removed trees, and modified multiple fairways and holes. There is now far more undulation—especially on and around the greens—and greater strategic variety in how each hole can be played. These updates add character and challenge, making the course both a better test of golf and more enjoyable to play."
