“Grand Pines Golf Club at Bentwater is an interesting golf course that navigates its way through the pine forest north of Houston on Lake Conroe. It features strong conditioning, with firm and fast greens. The rolling terrain is unique for south east Texas, and features a few views of Lake Conroe. These views, and the fact that it does not have residences surrounding the course, brings a nice sense of place."

“Cut out of the forest along Lake Bentwater, this course has the feels of Whispering Pines. Very quiet and tranquil. A great test of golf and you better be able to work your driver off the tee. Jeffery Blumen created something special for the residents of Bentwater that is nothing like the other 36 holes."

“Some solid holes requiring some thinking. Pleasant surroundings and quiet. Greens all change size and shape and contours. Fun place and a solid course to call home."

“Not your typical Houston area golf course in that the property has quite a bit of elevation change. This 2005 Jeff Blume design does not have any housing on the course so it's just you and the golf course. Very nice private club with a welcoming staff. Definitely accept an invitation if offered."
