Overview
Three-time major champion Larry Nelson designed this Nashville links course that plays along the Cumberland River. Nearly every hole runs in a north-south direction, allowing golfers to get a sense of the wind direction, which is key to navigating this exposed layout. Golfers are greeted with a straightforward par-5 opener, but water lurks on 10 of the remaining 17 holes. Despite the water, there is generally ample room to bail out, leaving players to choose how much trouble to take on.

“Gaylord Springs is a course that should be on your list of places to play when in Nashville. A classic links style course with undulating fairways and plenty of uneven lies requiring thought and precision off the tee. Plenty of well positioned bunkers to provide unease off the tee and with approach shots. The holes get more interesting and challenging as the round progresses. Signature par 3 on the back 9 over water with granite cliff as backdrop is a stunning hole. Greens are fast and true. Bunkers well maintained. Look forward taking another shot next time in Nashville!"

“Extremely helpful and friendly staff. A great mix of par 3's with yardages ranging from 120 yards to 210 depending on the tees you choose. The par 4 number four is a fun risk reward hole challenging your layup with a second shot carrying a hazard to an peninsula green. The fairway landing areas are wide allowing for players of all abilities. The par 5's offer a variety of yardages being reachable for longer hitters from the middle tees."
