Review
“Quidnessett is an interesting golf course in Southern Rhode Island, Flanked by Narraganset Bay on a handful of holes. For as early in the season as we are, the conditioning was outstanding, albeit the greens are a bit too springy. Firm turf throughout. There is a degree of awkwardness to both the routing and a handful of holes. There are a handful of holes, specifically 3 (a double dogleg with a tree blocking line of site inside of dogleg) tree blocking fairway bunker. In fact, there are a handful of holes where there is some awkwardness of a fairway bunker with a tree interfering with entry or exit. There are a handful of incredibly good holes including the standout long par 4, 4th as well as the par 5 14th hard agains Narraganset Bay. The large facility sits in the middle of the property with long walks to the first tee as well as a few other disjointed strolls. Thinning of excess trees - many obscure views either of the Bay or the inside of the dogleg on many holes. Many of the obstructive trees (17) are more overgrown ornamental plantings near forward sets of tees."

“Quidnessett is an 18-hole private course on Narragansett Bay. Slightly above average for Rhode Island privates, Quidnessett is always in fantastic condition but features a rather forgettable front 9. The best holes are on the water on the back including the long par 5 14th and par 3 16th."
