“Point Judith CC is a Donald Ross course located close to his summer home in Rhode Island. The course is a solid if unspectacular layout on an L-shaped property where most holes play relatively straight with variations in bunkering and subtle ground movement. The #8 through #12 stretch is particularly interesting with a straight par four with a plateau green, a very unique par three of 130 yards with a tiny green surrounded by bunkers, a long par four, a long at-grade par 3, and a short dogleg left par found around a nest of bunkers. The course loses a bit of memorability after that (the mid-front nine has the same issue too), but #18 is a highlight, a long par five with a rare interesting second shot."

“Located in Southern RI, Point Judith is a classic Donald Ross design with a strong closing stretch and excellent conditioning. While not the best private course in the state, it is one of the better privates and probably top 10 in RI."
