“With 9 holes from Donald Ross in 1912 and a renovation from William Flynn in 1924, this largely untouched mountain course is a hidden gem and well-worth a play. Short and quirky, this course is extremely fun and features some great architecture and green complexes. Two of the par threes on the front are particularly noteworthy - the 3rd, an 185 yard downhill, blind punchbowl hole and the 7th, a downhill 77 yard pitch shot with danger all around. The course is not really too close to any population centers, but at prices under $50 for cart and 18, Pocono Manor is worth a daytrip from New York and Philly!"
