“Elevation changes lead to a few dramatic golf holes. The golf course makes you think through every shot and offers a fair amount of risk reward scenarios. The stream/river that traverses the course adds to the challenge, provides drainage, and significantly adds to the beauty of this golf course. The conditioning of the course is excellent and the members take just as good care as the crew. Fairway bunkers are excellent. Strategically located and offer great challenges when they are in front of you."

“Lehigh CC is an enjoyable William Flynn design with a wonderful layout over the hilly Eastern Pennsylvania terrain. The course is well-bunkered and contains numerous doglegs of varying lengths with good variety on the greens as well. The highlight holes traverse the central valley and score particularly highly in shot options with the risk/reward valley par 4 4th, memorable downhill par 3 7th, and quirky par 5 11th being real standouts. Lehigh is underrated on the national scene and is well-worth a play."

“Has a tremendous amount of character and variety. Flynn's routing on this course is exceptional, electing to traverse the perimeter of the course on the front 9 and the interior of the course on the back 9. This leads to the front 9 being much more penal off the tee than the back 9. The course possesses multiple truly great holes in their current state including 1,3 and 4 and a multitude of potentially great holes barring a restoration. Holes 5,7,8,10,11,12,13,17 and 18 all have the "bones" of great holes. They simply need to have their bunkers restored, which would add to the aesthetics and playability and in some cases, tees added to adjust for the modern day game."

“Layout design was the biggest strength. The holes are played in a variety of directions with a variety of long vs. short holes. The only drawback on layout design was the overuse of blind tee shots. Great use of elevation changes with uphill, sidehill, and downhill shots."

“Great greens. Rolling terrain throughout and a few really big hills in addition. Lehigh is a friendly place, and one not to miss if you're in the neighborhood and can get access."

“A relatively hilly Flynn designed course. In excellent condition when I played, greens were superb. I was also two foursomes back from Gary Player so you never know who you will see there!"
