“Conditions were excellent. Greens were running very fast and rolled true. Not a "bombers" course, but more of a strategic course, the golfer is forced to make intelligent decisions with club choice on the tee, navigating tight fairways and hazards that influence where to set up your approach. Failure to do so will result in an almost certain dropped shot. From tee to green, the golfer rarely gets a clean look. There is lots of "noise" with fescue areas, mounding, bunkering and holes that twist and turn through trees and wooded areas. Quite the challenge."

“The course demands length and precision off the tee. Generous fairways with thick rough. Green complexes were large with excellent rolling greens with contours, ridges and breaks that made the putting challenging and entertaining. Pin placements changes your attack on many holes. The use of the native areas added to the value of many holes despite its urban setting."
