Review
“The Territory Golf and Country Club is not a dusty, flat and wind-blown southern Oklahoma course. It is verdant, with groves of trees, streams, wetlands, ponds/lakes, and enough elevation change to maintain interest. This is a shot-makers course. The large greens are sectioned off by steps, rolls, and mounds. Though each section is fairly flat, the transitions between them are dramatic. This makes it possible to work the ball to many hole locations, which is great fun. This course calls on the golfer to properly place tee shots, to work the ball both ways, and to hit both high and running approach shots, making this an interesting course for the strategically oriented golfer. Two, perhaps even three of the par 5s are excellent, the par 3s play in four different wind directions and have excellent distance diversity, and several of the par 4s are truly strategic. The multiple tee boxes set at significantly different angles, coupled with the lack of forced carries, makes this a fun round for golfers of all handicaps."
