“A solid Greg Norman layout to play, would be more attractive with better attention to maintenance details. In spite of recent drought conditions in the area, fairways were very soft, no roll, could not play approach shots on the ground. No aprons, greens transition directly to rough. Bunker conditions varied from acceptable to totally neglected."

“Greg Norman design on an old farm with a large hill that he used to create some interest. It's a very solid, straightforward course that tightens up significantly on the back nine through a woodland. The front plays like a links with excellent use of a stream protecting the two par 5's that were once connected together (shout out to St Andrews!). I was pleased at the condition. Much better than a couple years ago when it was in bad shape. No longer. And, they fixed many of the bunkers. The downside is some of the longer drives between holes (like the huge hill climb to # 8 and the half mile from # 15 to 16 tee). Overall, a very solid public facility on the far east side of Cincinnati."
