“Congress Lake is a great Donald Ross Design. Course is fairly narrow with many tree lined holes. Many trees have been trimmed up or taken out the past few years. Complete reconstruction of all of the bunkers in the past two years. Fairways are always perfect. Some of the best greens around; Small, sloped, and fast. Great setting in Northeast Ohio"

“Don’t let the name fool you, the lake does not come into play on this classic Donald Ross design. Ben Hogan one said to Jack Paar on “The Tonight Show” that if he could play only one course for the rest of his life, it would be Congress Lake. It is the kind of course that would provide a challenge despite the lack of length with the rolling terrain and Ross greens."
