“Briarwood is a tired layout in the outer Cleveland suburbs that time has seemingly forgot. From the threadbare pro shop to the inconsistent conditioning, there is a sense that this is a property in transition, but only time will tell whether that transition will lead up or down. The course layout ranges from the weird to the quite good, as it has a good 6-8 holes that are well worth playing, especially the par five 4th, the drivable 5th and 11th, and a pretty good run to the clubhouse from #15 on. This course certainly serves a market looking for no-frills, affordable golf, so let's hope it stays alive."
