“Donald Ross course in upstate NY- Rochester area with 2 holes bordering Oak Hill Country Club. Conditioning is excellent with receptive greens. Wide fairways with significant undulation necessitating focused concentration on landing zones. Nice variety of par 3's in distance and elevation (3 of the 4 par 3's on the front 9 with 3 par 5's). Par 5's for the most part short and reachable in 2 for the longer hitters. A number of holes with blind approach making you want to play the course again. Greens are variable in size and orientation; fast, receptive and true. Run offs and false fronts as is typical of a Ross course. A definite must play in the Rochester area rotation."
