“A very popular public course that has full tee sheets daily."

Review
“Scotland Run is a modern, public design in Southwestern NJ near Philadelphia. Regarded as one of the better public courses in state, this course features a relatively flat terrain meandering through a wooded, sandy property. The front 9 is nice enough, but rather unremarkable, but the back 9 is quite good featuring numerous strong and memorable holes. Among these are the par 5 10th with Dye-inspired railroad ties short of the green, par 4 11th with a semi-blind teeshot and narrow fairway guarded by sandy wastebunkers, and par 3 13th, a 200 yard par 3 playing uphill over water to a very shallow green. I also found the dogleg right 16th playing over a sandy wasteland an exhilarating hole and something that resembles some holes at nearby Pine Valley. Unfortunately, the conditions were very soft and barren when I played with slow greens. It is the best public option in the area and one of the better public courses in NJ."
