“Course knowledge is key to navigate many blind shots, however, it plays fairly straight and does not really move you left or right. Course layout varies considerable, with lots of changes in elevation and severe sloping on many fairways. The course has two personalities, with holes 1-11 and 18 feeling more like a parkland course, featuring tree lined fairways. Holes 12-17 take on a very different feel as they play along the water, with sandy waste areas, very little trees, and minimal changes in elevation or slope. Course conditions were very good, with greens running fast. Aesthetics were strong, with the color abundant in the changing leaves and heathered fescue and several waterside holes. With all its different aspects, the course holds your attention and was fun to play."
