“The design stays true to the tenets of its designer, Arnold Palmer, with an effective use of the natural landscape and large contoured greens. The fairways are undulating, with slopes that vary from subtle to severe on almost every hole. Water is prominent throughout the course, creating hazards and adding to the natural aesthetics. There are several tee box options that offer an opportunity to every level of golfer. Conditions were very good, with greens running fast and true. Routing is not very intuitive. Overall, the green complexes are the highlight of the course, contributing positively to the challenge, layout variety and the overall affect on shot options."

“* Overly wet fairways with some poor drainage in places. Greens roll nicely and quick. * Greens alternate between angling left and right on approach shots with some straight on greens fronted by water/bunkering and others open. * Penal forced carries over water and fescue tucked close to the fairway with out of bounds beyond. * Little elevation change the largest being the 3rd hole playing uphill. May be the only one of the day to take slope into consideration."
