“Berkshire Valley is an upscale public course and one of the better I've played in New Jersey. It is often overlooked in state rankings. The first 5 holes play along a tall ridge offering wonderful views of the course below, while the lower holes feature lots of water and challenge. Strong variety and conditions."

“A sprawling piece of property on 600 acres abutting the Green Pond Mountain. An awkward start up against the ridge but the course opens up. Usually in decent shape, it’s still one of the better public golf options in the area."

“A good track although the first few holes are cut into the mountainside with a large retaining wall so if you hit it left 30 feet off the fairway, you are either OB or against the wall. The right side is off the mountain so you need to be straight. Once past those holes, the course opens up and gives a variety of shots. Bunkers need some work. Greens are usually nice and some are quite difficult."
