Overview
Even though much of the course is situated in a housing development, Owl’s Nest makes terrific use of the landscape, with satisfying elevation changes creating vistas of the White Mountains. The Nicklaus Design course tips out around 6,700 yards and is best enjoyed in the fall when the colorful foliage lights up the mountain backdrop.

“This resort course is great for a weekend getaway to New Hampshire. The course is challenging due to the elevation changes and mountainous terrain, but is always in great shape. Make sure to stay for dinner at the Owls Nest Club house, since the food and service are great. The outdoor patio has the best views."

“You'll be glad to know the range is going to be the low point of the round. It's synthetic grass and no woods allowed. After that you are in for a treat. Owl's Nest meanders through housing developments and the local hillside. The views are gorgeous. If you are a long ball hitter, club selection is key to avoid trouble. throw your normal yardages out the window on many holes and see if you can get some local course knowledge. If you do, low scores are out there for the taking. The traps are meticulously maintained. The greens are smooth and fast. They aren't all that firm so if you are not as long off the tee, they will hold a long to mid iron fairly well."
