Formerly a part of Sedgefield Country Club, The Cardinal by Pete Dye is now semi-private. Set along a countryside stream in Greensboro, this par-70 Pete Dye design boasts crowned greens that repel even slightly offline approach shots. As you walk up to the par-3 12th, a plaque, quoting Dye, reads, “The hardest par 3 I ever designed.”

“Great track that has hosted numerous amateur, junior and college events over the years. Was fortunate to get out there on a great fall day and the course was in excellent condition. Quite a test. The course is challenging but fair. Greens were excellent and I have been fortunate to play a lot of great greens this year. They were somehow quite firm yet receptive. Speed was great but not too much. really great test of golf with some uniqueness and that Pete Dye character!"
