“Cedar River is a fun course for golfers of all abilities. The course is generous off the tee and playable for the average golfer. The design features a good blend of uphill and downhill holes, and enough topographical changes in the fairways to keep the course interesting for the better player. The classic Tom Weiskopf short par 4s are fun. The 300 yard par 4 13th specifically could be played a dozen different ways. A centerline tree and bunker with a green surrounding by some penal and some less penal sand traps. It can be an easy birdie or a hard fought double if poorly positioned. The gentle contours on the greens roll true and rolling fairways are firm and fast."

“Great resort to have a golf trip. This is by far the best course of the Shanty Creek courses. This is a must play if your looking to play all of the top courses in Michigan!"
