“Manor is a busy private club located just outside Washington DC. Originally a William Flynn design, today's current course feels more modern thanks to a redesign from Arthur Hills. The course is in terrific condition and plays difficult with a very tough closing stretch."

“While this course doesn't offer the extreme length at less than 7,000 yards for a par 70, it presents magnificent green complexes with a combination of slope, purity and speed that are receptive yet very firm. The three par 5s present challenging variety forcing a player to move the ball both right and left off the tee as well as in long approach shots with elevation changes to reach in two. Each of the five par 3s demand differing skills with irons ranging from long bump and run shots (#3), high fade (#8), precise mid range (#5 & #11) and high draw (#17). Equally reflective tests exist on back-to-back par fours at #6+#7 and #13+#14. Great presentation of shot options with alternating hazard placements including straddling bunkers, OB, streams and fescue threats."
