Review

“Pretty typical city municipal course located in a park in Baltimore. The course is short, and relatively wide open for beginners. Conditioning was about average and pace of play was on the slower side but the course offers great value. The course's biggest strength is its land movement, which is used to create some fun holes like the dueling par fives 1 and 18 and the 3rd hole. This is not a course to seek out but serves its role for Baltimore's golfers on a budget."

“This Baltimore City-owned course is not nearly as good as big sisters Mt. Pleasant or Pine Ridge, but it is a pleasant place just to stretch your legs. Don't expect great golf or good conditions. Enjoy being out of doors and hitting a ball with a stick."

Review

“On the grounds of the John's Hopkins historic mansion, this iconic Baltimore Course has its charms and several good holes and from 17 green and 18 tee it has the best vista view of the Baltimore skyline anywhere in the city. The greens when conditions are good are very quick , though to read and when in doubt most putts will break in the direction of Belair Road."
