“Highfields featured elevation changes throughout the property. The greens were fairly small and flat but offered some short grass areas around the greens with contours that provided to fun shot options at time. The routing is a bit tough at times around the housing with long walks between some holes. Highfields featured a nice variety of holes that offered short and long holes on par 3s, 4s and 5s."

“A really fun and interesting course with a lot of up and downhill shots. Not particularly long at just over 7,000 yards but challenges your creativity and shotmaking. Several holes give you blind tee or 2nd shots. #2 and #13 stand out as really interesting downhill holes. 2 is a par 3 down a pretty steep hill and the green runs away, so you have to land short and play to ball to bounce and roll slightly right. #13 is also down a steep hill, a 404 yard dogleg right. You have to decide how much of the corner to try and cut as the ball will roll a long way. Don't play it far enough right and you run out of golf course pretty quickly. The green doesn't run away, but is rather flat. Punching a short iron off the tee leaves you a longer shot into the green that probably requires you land it short. A really fun hole. A lot off different layouts of elevated greens and greens you can or have to play short of. FWIW Keegan Bradley held the course record here for quite a while"

“A sporty golf course with dramatic elevation changes and scenic views. Seems to be having a turf disease issue in the fairways. The course has good bones. with better conditions, it would be worth an occasional round"
