“CC of New Bedford is a solid golden age layout that is one of the few Willie Park Jr. designs in New England. The course is a rolling affair laid out back and forth in a somewhat cramped property that somehow does not feel that way while playing. Greens are wild and sloped here, with pin locations that will challenge even the best players. Highlights include long par fours at 5, 9, and 18, the volcano par three 15th, and the fun short par four 13th. Controversially, the green at #7 is near-unplayable at today's green speeds, but the club clearly like the challenge it presents."
