“The Oaks is a course that was developed just outside of Ashland, Kentucky in a housing development. The course is cut through a thick forest of trees which makes many of the holes very secluded, but also makes it difficult to get great grass on the course. The bunkers and fairways can be not playable at times. The greens are acceptable, but far from great. It is an interesting 18 hole layout that is good for variety."
