“This is an interesting course that has a nice variety of holes moving up and down the natural slopes in the land. Greens have character and the course is a challenge from the back two sets of tees."

“The course hosts major state events such as the 2025 state amateur. Native area surrounds the fairways and rough areas. Good elevation changes and use of doglegs to offer risk reward scenarios. Nice mix of holes, including different length and character par threes. A real challenge from the longer tees. Significant rough makes accuracy a must on tee shots. A relatively fun course that I would like to playa again."

“This casino course presents good challenges, has three distinct environmental systems that you play through (meadow, creek and woodland) and is great fun to play. Nice practice area, adjacent lodging and casino makes it a good stop not tooo far from Topeka."

“Very good public course with excellent variety of holes. Need to score well on opening 7 holes before playing the more difficult woodland holes on the backs. Worth the 90 minute trip from Kansas City to play if need a public course for play."

“Good variety of holes, somewhat scenic and very challenging. Some really fun and interesting approach shots. Lots of tees so you can play to your level but be sure to pick the right one. Huge, undulating but slow greens. They need to turn off the water and firm the course up to improve the playing conditions. Bent grass tees, fairways and driving range turf were not the best choice for the midwest. It seems like they try to keep the course perfectly green which seems to always keep it pretty wet and soft. Lots of areas including around the edge of bunkers with very tall and penalizing fescue - almost too severe at times given you are already in a bunker. A few too many blind or semi-blind shots. They proudly say #1 course in Kansas but that is a bit of a stretch."
