“Stonebridge is a clever design. Not a premium on accuracy off the tee but approach shots require a good target. Local knowledge definitely help on holes 2, 10 and 18. Would have played them completely different had I known."

“Well-conditioned course with a nice variety of hole shapes and lengths. Generous fairways with several risk/reward decisions both off the tee and with the second shots on Par 5s. Fun an interesting greens such as the Par 3 8th with a two distinct tiers and a dramatic slope."

“Stonebridge is a very demanding and interesting layout that requires chocies off many of the tees and provides advantages to players who can cantrol their ball flight to set up angles into greens. The course features several unique designs including a par 3 with a significant forced carry voer water, and a reverse two-tiered green that falls down in the back. Water comes into play in many different ways on the course, seperating portions of the fairway on certain holes, and providing a more traditional hazard on one side of the fairway or green on others. The layout itself winds through a fairly dense housing complex although the course is usually set back far enough from any houses for them to come into play. This course is an underrated private club in the Chicagoland area."

“Beautiful course that is both challenging enough for scratch players and playable for all levels."

“Generous landing areas, firm fairways and mostly large green (except for the 570 yd 14th which is made even more challenging by the comparatively small green) that are firm and run true while holding well hit shots make this a fun course to play and if you can hit fairly straight, you can score well. A handful of tempting risk/reward opportunites starting right away on the dogleg left par 5 1st hole, exist as well and 18 is a great finishing par 5."
