“Denis Griffith design, public course in northern suburbs of Illinois. Interesting layout, through wetlands, and wooded terrains. Tight driving makes the front nine a challenge, with accuracy off the tee a must. Some forced carries, but not a particularly long course with some reachable par 5s and a couple gettable par 3, including a beautiful 17th, somewhat island green. Condition was acceptable, but gets a lot of play. The layout was strong, and the back nine was enjoyable."

“Nice variety of holes in the hills of Cary, IL, with an interesting routing around a large lake that both 9 and 18 encircle. The layout makes this a course that is best suited for a cart. Course is a member of the Audubon Santuary program, creating a lovely natural aesthetic through the course. Greens are interesting and fair, however overall conditioning relatively soft compared to other courses in the area."

“Some very memorable holes, including 9, 17 and 18 that play around the same lake, but overall course is fairly average, with housing encroaching in some areas. Reasonable test for better players and playable by all. Good, but not special."
